Want some rain? Here, have mine
If I wanted to live in a mudhole, I'd move to bloody Ireland.

Yoo hoo!

Send it over here. You know the great big bloody dust bowl in its fourth year of drought...

It wasn't *that* much rain. And it's cleaned the streets up a bit, the dust was giving me itchy eyeballs.

Though I passed an impressive puddle on Huopalahdentie this morning.

Hmm, sorry I'm assuming you're in Helsinki - and on no evidence that I can see now.

Rain in Helsinki isn't a problem, as asphalt roads and concrete yards don't turn into mud. A bit different here, as it rained almost nonstop last year from June to December, groundwater level is very high and and the ground absorbs rain water very slowly or not at all - hence the mud. We're talking about last year's most flooded area, and there were huge problems with e.g. the hay and grain crops last autumn, so no-one here wants lots of rain after last year.
